Living Threads exists to recognize what we find inspiring and wise in the ways of rooted humanity and our Earth through natural fibers, exhibitions, photography, travel, and gatherings.

Teresa Robinson and Eric Mindling have come together to create Living Threads.

Both of our lives have been guided by a strong sense of exploration and curiosity which has led us to learn from the diversity and richness of this world and gravitate towards those of quiet and old knowledge. Our collaboration energizes our passion for contributing and sharing.

Teresa is the founder of Nuraxi. She was born in Brazil and raised between there, Argentina and the United States. She spent a decade working in International Educational Development before launching her company called Nuraxi, which brings together high-quality natural products that support local economies and artisan traditions.

Eric is a fine art documentary photographer and award-winning author. He was born in the United States and lived for 25 years in Oaxaca, Mexico, and has done deep dives into Peru and India. His work focuses entirely on traditional artisans and the cultural richness of their world.

Our two very distinctive, but related creative journeys in textiles, photography, words, and heart-driven sharing come together like two rivers under the roof of Living Threads; mixing like rum and tonic, beans and rice, sugar and spice, and everything nice.  

These are the most beautiful things we dream of doing.
